Yes. Electric locking options are available and can integrate with electronic access control systems, allowing organisations to securely manage authorised access to critical infrastructure sites.

Electric locking can be configured for either 12VDC or 24VDC, with field adjustment available where applicable.
As with any metal component installed on a substation, EXAL Powerdoors require bonding between the door and frame, with connection to the site earth system as specified by the asset owner's earthing standards. Earthing requirements should always be confirmed with the network's earthing specialist.
EXAL Powerdoors are not supplied with a certified fire rating. If a fire-rated door is required, please discuss your project requirements with Exal Doors or Allied Locks.
